Changes to the
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force from 25th May 2018 governs how
we communicate with our subscribers.
Please be assured we'll only ever contact you about Greening
Chinnor activities and information which normally comes in the form of an
irregular newsletter or a Blog update. We never share your information with
anyone else but we will share it with MailChimp, the company who provide our mailing software It will only be used for the purpose of sending you our email. You can read more about how they will use your details here.
The information we collect is your name and email address to keep you updated about our activities, projects, events and volunteering
opportunities. We may also have a contact number for you if you have given it. Occasionally when we have a specific project, for example thermal
imaging, we will also collect your address.
As well as holding data on MailChimp, Greening Chinnor holds the same data on a central database which is password
protected, backed up regularly and held in a secure storage system.
If, at anytime, you wish to be removed from our database
please email greeningchinnor@gmail.com and we will remove you so you will not receive any news or information relating to Greening
Chinnor. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from the link at the bottom of our email and newsletter.
